Michael Johnson releases statement after controversial loss to Jamie Mullarkey: ‘ I’m convinced they don’t even watch the fights’
Michael Johnson didn’t think he lost on Saturday at UFC Vegas 58.
Johnson was facing Jamie Mullarkey on the main card in an intriguing matchup and in the first round, Johnson dropped Mullarkey and nearly finished him. Yet, the Aussie rebounded nicely and got the second round but in the third round, Johnson once again had success and many expected him to win 29-28 as he won the first and third rounds.
However, two of the judges only gave Johnson the third round with another giving him the first and third and he lost a controversial decision. Following the loss, he took to social media to release a statement.
Yes I am! Keep you’re head up also. I’m convinced they don’t even watch the fights! Would love to see pics of them not paying attention. https://t.co/Iq2ILcBHhP
