Michael Morales moves to 13-0 with first round finish of Trevin Giles

The Ultimate Fighting Championship held their first pay-per-view of 2022 with UFC 270 on Saturday night, live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Opening up the pay-per-view portion of the fight card was a welterweight clash between undefeated Michael Morales and the highly touted, Trevin Giles.

Morales, who was making his UFC debut coming off a win on Dana White’s Contender Series, was hurt early by the police officer from Texas known as “The Problem,” in Giles.

After regaining his composure, Morales was able bounce back and hit Giles with a similar punch that had given him problems just moments ago.  Giles was rocked, dropped, and just seconds later the fight was stopped by seasoned mixed martial arts referee Michael Beltran.

With the win tonight on the UFC 270 pay-per-view, Morales moves to a perfect 13-0 and should be considered as one of the top prospects at 170-pounds.
