Said Nurmagomedov submits Cody Stamann in just 47 seconds

The Ultimate Fighting Championship held their first pay-per-view of 2022 with UFC 270 on Saturday night, live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

In the second fight on the main card (pay-per-view), Makhachkala, Russia’s Said Nurmagomedov wasted absolutely no time in putting away Cody Stamann who may have just fought his last fight in the UFC after dropping three in a row.

Stamann, a wrestler by trait, shot in on Nurmagomedov after absorbing a body kick that might knock most men down. Once up against the cage, Nurmagomedov locked up Stamann’s neck and when the fight hit the canvas it was almost inevitable that the tap would come.

Just 47-seconds into the fight, Said Nurmagomedov moved to 15-2 with the win.
