Mickey Gall: I cut the line; Sean Santella, Andy Main belong in UFC
This was a fun episode of the podcast as we were joined (9:05 in) by UFC welterweight contender Mickey Gall (@mickeygall) as he prepares for his big fight on December 17th in Sacramento with Sage Northcutt. Mickey, as always, spoke what was on his mind.
When asked about training partners that should currently be in the UFC and maybe get a slot on the UFC Albany card, Gall had a few names in mind to include “Shorty Rock” Sean Santella and Pancrase MMA champion, Andy Main. Tune in around the 18:50 mark for that.
We also heard the big news on Monday with Georges St-Pierre declaring himself a free agent on ‘The MMA Hour’ with Ariel Helwani. That is why we brought on the great James Lunch (@LynchonSports) from FloCombat, Sportsnet, MMA Oddsbreaker and more to discuss the impact of GSP’s announcement on Canadian MMA and what it means for UFC 206 and the impact on it’s business.
