Miesha Tate talks urine – “”Clear Pee doesn’t necessarily indicate signs of hydration”
Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate knows a thing or two about cutting weight and as a fitness coach and fighter, managing hydration comes naturally to “Cupcake.”
“You may be drinking plenty of water🚰but are you actually hydrated?” she wrote in a post on Instagram.
“Clear Pee doesn’t necessarily indicate signs of hydration, it can actually mean you’re dehydrated.
“Trust me as an athlete who has to specialize in all the ways of hydration and dehydration, I’ve made mistakes and I’ve learned from them.
“These are important things to know as dehydration can affect us negatively in so many ways including cognitively.
“Sometimes it’s not about how much actual water is in your body it’s about how useable the water is in your body, and like most things in the body water also needs to pair up with electrolytes to work best in the body.”
