Official Result: Mike Perry def. Luke Rockhold via TKO (retirement) at 1:15 of round one

Perry blitzes Rockhold from the start of the bout and keeps this pace through the first minute. He’s doing a good job of backing Rockhold up, but eats a couple left hands doing so. The third left hand Rockhold lands stuns Perry and wobbles him backward, before Perry cracks an incoming Rockhold with a left hand of his own that immediately backs him up as the round ends.

Perry keeps this pace into round two and Rockhold just doesn’t have an answer for it, as the referee is forced to stop the action 75 seconds in.

Mike Perry improves to 3-0 as a bare knuckle boxer tonight at BKFC 41.

I became a fan of combat sports when I was 12 years old. I was scrolling through the channels and landed upon Versus, where WEC was televised. Urijah Faber fought Jens Pulver for the second time that night. That's the first fight I ever saw, and I was immediately hooked. So eventually, I began covering the sport in the fourth quarter of 2018, and have since started writing about animals as well.
