Mikhail Allakhverdian steps in for Hanekom, faces Miro Jurkovic in BRAVE CF 56 co-main event
Travel restrictions imposed on passengers traveling from South Africa have made Chad Hanekom unable to compete at BRAVE CF 56 in South Africa. Thus, his return to action has been delayed, with newcomer Armenia’s Mikhail Allakhverdian called up as a replacement.
Holding a professional record of nine wins and only three losses, Allakhverdian will become the first ever Armenian fighter to compete inside the BRAVE CF Arena, as he takes on hometown hero Miro Jurkovic in the co-main event of the organization’s first-ever trip to Serbia.
Fighting out of Rostov-on-Don, Mikhail has an extensive record competing in the Russian and Eastern European circuit. The bout will remain a Middleweight contest, with 84,3kg as the maximum weight allowed.
BRAVE CF 56 takes place on December 18, in the capital Belgrade, marking the debut of the truly global MMA promotion in Serbia, in association with MMA Liga. The main event of the evening will see Slobodan Maksimović taking on Rolando “The Incredible” Dy.
On December 18, Serbia will become the seventh country visited by BRAVE CF in 2021, and the 25th overall. The show will be broadcast live and free at bravecftv.com and locally through our broadcast partners.
