Miranda Granger is just a few weeks away from stepping back inside of the octagon. On Nov. 14, Granger will meet Ashley Yoder in which will be Granger’s first fight of 2020.
Since Granger’s last fight in late December of 2019, she has been through plenty of ups and downs. For starters, she lost that December fight against Amanda Lemos. Following the loss, Granger spent Christmas morning in the hospital after having blood cloths in her lungs.
The recovery from the brief health scare lead right into the global coronavirus pandemic which left every fighter waiting for sports to start back up. Once the UFC returned, Granger was scheduled to face Nadia Kassem in August, but the fight was canceled.
Now all of that is in the past and Yoder is on the forefront of Granger’s mind as she looks to go 8-1 in her career while picking up her second career UFC victory.
Granger spoke to MyMMANews about her fight with Yoder, life since her last fight and a little girl named Carter, who gives Grander motivation every single day. You can see the full interview in the video above.
