More than 45,000 tickets sold for Mamed Khalidov vs. Scott Askham 3 stadium show in Poland
The fight card for XTB KSW Colosseum 2 is complete and the stage is set for one of the biggest MMA events of all-time. Almost 45,000 tickets have already been purchased as fans flock to the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, on June 3 to watch a star-studded line-up.
In the main event, MMA legend Mamed Khalidov (36-8-2) and rival Scott Askham (19-5) will write the final chapter in their story and on the grandest stage of them all. It is the final fight in one of the biggest trilogies ever in European MMA history.
The undisputed KSW lightweight title will be decided in the co-main event as KSW lightweight champion Marian Ziolkowski (25-8-1) and interim-KSW lightweight & featherweight champ Salahdine Parnasse (17-1) finally go head to head.
Five-time world’s strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowski (17-8) collides with former WBC heavyweight title contender Artur Szpilka (2-0) in a huge contest between two Polish sporting icons. Additionally, Pawel Pawlak (21-4-1) and Tomasz Romanowski (18-8) fight for the vacant KSW middleweight title and Jakub Wiklacz (14-3-1) makes the first defense of his KSW bantamweight title against explosive Brazilian Werlleson Martins (18-5).
Elsewhere on the card, two of Europe’s elite strikers meet as Poland’s Arek Wrzosek (2-0) faces Romania’s Bogdan Stoica (0-0), KSW legend Michal Materla (32-9) welcomes the challenge of rising star Radek Paczuski (5-1), and former WBO cruiserweight boxing champion Krzysztof Głowacki (0-0) clashes with bare-knuckle boxing star Patryk Tołkaczewski (0-0) under MMA rules, plus even more exciting match-ups.
