Muay thai trainer, Bellator veteran Anthony Castrejon attacked, murdered

Professional combat sports athlete Anthony Castrejon has passed away at the age of 32.

As of press time, no official news report about the fighter’s death has been published, however, friends allege that the Castrejon was attacked by a group of people and later succumbed to injuries.

According to reports, Castrejon was injured on February 3 and then died while at the hospital.

The exact details of the incident are unknown because his family wants to maintain privacy.

He had trained at the One Kick’s Gym since he was thirteen years old and was a coach there as well. He’s competed in Muay Thai and mixed martial arts to include one bout with Bellator MMA. His professional mixed martial arts record was 1-2.

Legacy Fighting Alliance posted a tribute to Castrejon on their social media pages.

A GoFundMe has been set up to support his family during this difficult time. The fundraiser will help pay for Castrejon’s medical costs and his funeral. All the remaining proceeds will go to the children’s program at the One Kick’s Gym.
