Muhammad Mokaev making the turn to pro
Unbeaten MMA amateur, Muhammad Mokaev is making the decision to go professional. Mokaev has compiled an incredibly impressive 23-0 as an amateur compiling a list of tournament wins under IMMAF.
Mokaev is a Dagestani native whose family moved to England. Now only 19, Mokaev has shown great strides in his fighting, blending striking and grappling almost seamlessly. Mokaev represented Britain in wrestling internationally.
Since joining IMMAF two years ago, Muhammad Mokaev won back to back bantamweight gold medals at the IMMAF junior world championships, and gold in 2020 at the Oceanic games as a senior.
Fifteen of Mokaev’s twenty-three wins have been under IMMAF and their structured growth methods. His transition to professional will further prove IMMAF’s point of taking young fighters and improving them in a smart and safe way.
Muhammad Mokaev and Brave CF
Mokaev has beat some of the best fighters from Japan, Russia, Bulgaria, and Ireland. Bellator and ONE Championship have already put the bid in for the 19 year old prospect. Instead, Muhammad Mokaev signed with Brave CF due to the promotions support of his career goals.
While he is starting in Brave CF, Mokaev hopes to move on to the UFC some day, and Brave CF gives him that opportunity. With Bellator and ONE Championship being in direct competition with the UFC, they would want to lock him into an exclusive contract, prohibiting him from his UFC dream. Brave will have some unique tests for Mokaev at bantamweight and watching his career as a professional fighter will be very interesting to see how he does moving from IMMAF to a professional promotion.
Mokaev’s career is just starting as a professional and now is the time for him to prove that his amateur credentials were no fluke.
