Welcome to the MyMMANews.com End of Year Awards for 2018. First and foremost, we want to congratulate all nominees. Win or lose, you were nominated because you helped make this calendar year a special year for the sport of mixed martial arts.
First and foremost we want to stress that this is supposed to be fun and a form of recognition. Because of that we must state up front that cheating will not be tolerated. If an attempt to cheat is discovered and investigated to be true, no award will be presented. These competitors work hard to put on a great show for fans so please do not ruin it for anyone.
Second, ALL nominees were provided to MyMMANews by promoters and matchmakers in the region of the following four states: Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. If you feel that someone should have been nominated or that there are nominees missing, it was not done intentionally. We had an open two week period where nominations were accepted and collected.
Your vote counts so choose wisely. MyMMANews.com owner Eric Kowal has excluded himself from any polls and is ineligible for any prize. We ask that you please vote once, but share often.
Polls close at 11:59 p.m. on January 20, 2019. Click the name/box to enter your submission.

– After writing for Ultimate MMA magazine and serving as the editor for U.S. Combat Sports, both of which went on hiatus, I decided to venture out on my own and enlist a staff of writers and photographers that could help me achieve my goal of telling stories that would otherwise go untold. We pride ourselves in taking a deeper look into the fighter, and understanding what makes them tick.
