Nate Diaz to the UFC: “I can’t commit when they acting like s**t

A couple of days ago, it was reported that beloved UFC lightweight Nate Diaz would be making much anticipated return to the octagon at UFC 230 on November 3rd vs red hot fellow lightweight contender,Dustin Piorier.

Diaz was in attendance at this past weekend’s UFC 25th Anniversary press-conference where he and Piorier participated in the famous face off in promotion for the fight.

Moments later, as the event came to a close, the UFC made the earth-shaking announcement of the long awaited UFC lightweight Championship bout between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Disturbed and offended by the announcement overshadowing the moment of his return, Diaz angrily bailed from the presser, then went on a heated rant on his twitter later that evening stating he now wasn’t gonna fight Poirier, as a result.

Here’s the frustrating tweet from Diaz

I’m not fighting on that show fuk the @ufc – Nate Diaz on Twitter.

UFC President Dana White was asked about Diaz’s harsh comment, which he implied he was not concerned about,  an that somebody else within the UFC staff deal with it.

“It’s not my problem,” White said (via MMAJunkie).

A few days after his social media outburst, Diaz went silent, but then recently posted another tweet, claiming his beef with the UFC is anywhere but done.

“I can’t commit when they actin like shit…. ” – Nate Diaz on Twitter.

Judging by the actions of Diaz here, you might be thinking the bout with Poirier actually won’t happen, however, the ever calm, cool “Diamond”  Poirier doesn’t seem worried

”I don’t believe the fight’s in jeopardy, no,” Poirier said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show (transcript via MMAMania). “I would have heard something. I have the bout agreement in my inbox, I’m about to sign it and send it off, so everything is moving forward like it was supposed to after the press conference. I think he was just upset with coming out to a press conference and then them advertising another fight, talking about Conor like he was there, when the guy’s not even present. I think he just felt disrespected.”

Do you believe Nate Diaz and the UFC will actually settle their differences?

Do you think Nate Diaz’s fight with Dustin Poirier will still happen?
