Neil Magny booked to face Phil Rowe at UFC Jackonsville

Neil Magny will be looking to return to the win column in June.

According to MMAJunkie, Magny is set to face Phil Rowe at UFC Jacksonville on June 24 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. The event is headlined by a featherweight scrap between Josh Emmett and Ilia Toupria while the card will also air on ABC.

Neil Magny (27-10) is coming off a first-round submission loss to Gilbert Burns back in January at UFC 283. Prior to that, he submitted Daniel Rodriguez to return to the win column after a submission loss to Shavkat Rakhmonov. The 35-year-old is ranked 11th at welterweight and has the most wins in UFC welterweight history.

Magny made his UFC debut back in 2013 when he beat Jon Manley by decision at UFC 157. In the UFC, Magny is 20-9 and holds notable wins over Robbie Lawler, Geoff Neal, Carlos Condit, Kelvin Gastelum, and Johny Hendricks among others.

Phil Rowe (10-3) is on a three-fight winning streak and picked up arguably the biggest win of his career as he scored a third-round TKO of Niko Price at UFC Orlando. Prior to that, he knocked out Jason Witt in the second round and scored a second-round TKO win over Orion Cosce. Rowe is 3-1 in the UFC as he lost his debut back at UFC 258 by decision to Gabe Green. He had earned his way into the UFC by scoring a third-round knockout of Leon Shahbazyan on the Contender Series.
