Neil Magny is set to headline a fun welterweight contender fight against Michael Chiesa at UFC Fight Island 8. The fight is a chance for the Colorado native to breakout in his division following a very successful 2020 that saw him go 3-0.
The fight has largely been billed as a striker vs grappler matchup with Magny seen largely as the striker. Something that has surprised him considering how much grappling he showed against Robbie Lawler in his last fight.
