Niclas Larsen – “I hope the best for my opponents”
“The Destroyer” Niclas Larsen will make his ONE Championship debut this Friday when he meets Tawanchai PK Saenchai in the main event of ONE: 158 in Singapore.
The June 3 bout pairs Muay Thai superstar Tawanchai PK Saenchai up against the Danish WBC Muay Thai World Champion for a shot at Petchmorakot Petchyindee’s ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title.
“I hope the best for my opponents,” Larsen said ahead of the contest. “Hopefully, they will bring their A-game and bring the best out of themselves. That way we can put on a beautiful show.”
Larsen understands and embraces the opportunity ahead of him in just a couple of days, and welcomes the challenge.
“I’m living the dream, I must say. This is part of the dream chasing… I have high, ambitious dreams that I follow, and I feel so grateful to be here and to show that anything is possible. To fight in the biggest organization in the world and also against Tawanchai, in the main event and as a contender to the world title. I just feel amazed!”
