Nong-O Gaiyanghadao To Defend Muay Thai Belt at ONE: Edge of Greatness
ONE: Edge of Greatness has found its main event. On November 22nd, Nong-O Gaiyanghadao will take on Saemapetch Fairtex in a bantamweight Muay Thai bout. The card will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.
Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and Saemapetch Fairtex at ONE: Edge of Greatness
Nong-O is a Muay Thai icon, making his first appearance at the legendary Rajadamnern Stadium as a teenager. In over 300 professional fights, Nong-O has captured two National Thailand Muay Thai Championships and the Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Championship.
Nong-O captured ONE Championship’s inaugural bantamweight Muay Thai title in February. He defeated Han Zi Hao and has defended his title twice since then.
His opponent Saemapetch Fairtex started Muay Thai at the age of 11. At 14, he was competing in the same Rajadamnern Stadium that Nong-O had competed in.
Co-Main Event: Amir Kahn Returns
Amir Kahn will be on the co-main event as he takes on Ev Ting in an MMA bout.
Kahn, who is a former Muay Thai World Champion, has taken on the best names ONE has to offer, and continues to do so in ONE: Edge of Greatness. He’s fought Eduard Folayang and Honorio Banario and will add Ting to his list.
Ting went to war in his last fight with Daichi Abe in July.
