Former UFC champions Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez debuted with the promotion, but both did not have the same results.
The former UFC flyweight champ in “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, was able to submit Yuya Wakamatsu with a nasty standing guillotine choke while the former UFC lightweight champ “The Underground King” Alvarez, was put down by way of strikes in the very first round. With the win over Alvarez, Timofey Nastyukhin will advance in the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix.
