ONE on TNT II Results (Christian Lee retains his lightweight gold)

ONE Championship returned Wednesday night with ONE on TNT II. This was a previously recorded event from the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The action-packed card continued the ONE on TNT series and featured a ONE Super Series Muay Thai contest as well as four mixed martial arts fights. All of these bouts finished inside the distance and here are your ONE on TNT II results.

In the top of the marquee prizefight, reigning ONE Lightweight world champion Christian Lee added another one to the highlight reel by halting the #3-ranked lightweight contender Timofey Nastyukhin in the first frame.

Both fighters measured each other out early as both had cognizance of the other’s ability to finish the fight. Lee was first to close distance, throwing a fast right hand and then shooting for a double-leg. However, Nastyukhin was able to read the offense and defend against the takedown.

But as Nastyukhin encroached towards Lee’s space with a combination, Lee caught him on the inside with a short left hand. After noticing his opponent was hurt, Lee immediately jumped on Nastyukhin. He rained down an unwavering volume of punches to the head until the referee called things off.

Janet Todd earns another Muay Thai win

In the co-feature, ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion and #2-ranked atomweight Muay Thai contender Janet “JT” Todd scored an emphatic finish over #3-ranked contender Anne “Ninja” Line Hogstad. This transpired in the third round of their ONE Super Series Muay Thai contest.

Todd came out firing from the gate and had a compounded confidence that translated into greater output throughout. Hogstad tried to use the range and her frame to her advantage, but Todd was able to read this well all throughout. In the final round, Todd folded Hogstad with a crushing body kick to the liver, which forced the referee to halt the contest.

On the lead card that broadcast via Bleacher Report, Yoshiki Nakahara took a DQ win. The disqualification came over ONE Warrior Series combatant Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg from an illegal kick to the head of a grounded opponent in round two.

In a flyweight mixed martial arts contest, Little Whirlwind Wang Shuo adds to his win streak. He knocked out Kim Kyu Sung with a razor-sharp elbow in the final frame of the fight.

Also in a bantamweight collision that kicked off the event, Shuya Kamikubo forced ONE Championship newcomer Mitchell Chamale to tap out. He did so in the second frame via a rear-naked choke.
