ONE on TNT IV Results
In the main event, undefeated ONE Middleweight World Champion Reinier de Ridder claimed the ONE Light Heavyweight World Title by unseating Aung La N Sang. The prizefight was a grappling intensive affair across five grinding rounds. After capturing the middleweight gold from Aung La N Sang in October, he became a two-division ONE World Champion.
De Ridder was consistently able to land takedowns on Aung La N Sang for much of the fight. He maintained strong positional control while threatening with a plethora of submission attempts. The Myanmar icon defended well against those attempts, but the man from the Netherlands proved far too skilled on the mat. De Ridder built on his lead with each passing round.
In the fifth and final frame, Aung La N Sang was able to reverse positions on the ground to end up on top. But with only a few minutes remaining, N Sang was unable to mount a comeback. In the end, all three judges scored the bout for De Ridder to win by unanimous decision.

Reug Reug and Eddie Alvarez taste defeat
In the co-feature, #5-ranked lightweight contender Ok Rae Yoon shocked the MMA world by defeating lightweight legend Eddie Alvarez after three grueling rounds of exciting action. Alvarez closed the distance with multiple shots that led to clinch situations. But Ok defended well against the Circle Wall and kept bounding up during rare instances where he touched on the mat.
In the first round, Ok hurt Alvarez with a punch that sent him crumpling to the canvas. Ok Rae Yoon nearly secured the finish with ground-and-pound. Alvarez survived and was aggressive in the next two frames. But in the end, all three judges scored the bout in favor of Ok to win by unanimous decision.
The kickoff fight of the main card saw unbeaten heavyweight Kirill Grishenko deal Senegalese wrestling star Reug Reug Oumar Kane the first loss of his pro career. He won by technical knockout in the closing second of the second frame. While Kane tried his best to grapple in close quarters, Grishenko defended it well and picked him apart with strikes. A big right hand landed on Reug Reug, replays abounded with uncertainty if the punch hit his throat, but Kane could no longer continue as he writhed on the mat.
On the Bleacher Report lead card, former ONE Lightweight World Champion Shinya Aoki emerged victorious in his rubber match with Eduard Folayang. He won their trilogy contest via first-round armbar and it wouldn’t be the only time that technique popped up on the lead card.
In her sophomore ONE outing, Jackie Buntan garnered the W in a close three-round Muay Thai battle against Ekaterina Vandaryeva via majority decision.
Also, karate stylist Colbey Northcutt showcased the multiplicity of her skillset on the mat. She finished Courtney Martin with an impressive armbar submission.
