ONE: Only The Brave kickboxing announcements for January 28th

ONE: Only The Brave features a trifecta of elite-caliber kickboxing contests.

Per the ONE Championship app, the first month of the looming new calendar year will establish the finalists of a high-stakes global tournament.

On the January 28th card from Singapore Indoor Stadium, the semi-finals of the ONE featherweight kickboxing grand prix will transpire.

In the initial second-round contest, Marat Grigorian vs Chingiz Allazov will pit two high-level warriors against each other. As both are hungry to punch their ticket to the finals.

Grigorian is coming off of a victory over the legendary Andy Souwer via second-round TKO. The GP quarterfinals victory took place at ONE: First Strike in October.

Allazov is coming off of a sub-forty second stoppage victory against former ONE GP finalist Samy Sana. This ONE featherweight grand prix quarterfinals bout also took place on October 15th.

ONE: Only The Brave

On the other side of the bracket, Sitthichai vs Davit Kiria will be taking place as part of ONE Championship’s first quarter of 2022 programming.

Sitthichai narrowly got past Tayfun Ozcan via split decision at ONE: First Strike. The decorated world champion kickboxer and Muay Thai practitioner is eyeing something else for his mantle as he continues on in the ONE Championship featherweight kickboxing tournament.

Kiria halted the progression of Enriko Kehl in their October quarter-finals clash. The three knockdown rule came into effect as the former Glory lightweight champion’s dominance netted himself a first-round victory.

Plus, an alternate bout for the featherweight tournament is set to go down as Smokin’ Jo Nattawut and Dovydas Rimkus collide.

In his last bout, Nattawut laid out Yurik Davtyan via right cross KO. This happened in the opening round of their ONE: Next Gen II contest on November 12th.

During his previous contest, Rimkus earned a majority decision win over Chunyu Zhang. This was also at ONE: Next Gen II in November.
