ONE: Only The Brave MMA fights set for January 2022

ONE: Only The Brave showcases multiple mixed martial arts bouts of divisional importance.

Per the ONE Championship app, a handful of MMA contests have been added to January 28th, 2022 from Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Number one ranked featherweight Kim Jae Woong takes on the division’s number four ranked combatant in Tang Kai.

Woong is coming off of a career-defining performance in September at ONE: Revolution. He notched a first-round knockout victory over former ONE dual division champion (lightweight and featherweight) Martin Nguyen.

Kai is riding an eight-fight winning streak overall and is a perfect 5-0 specifically under the ONE Championship banner.

A consequential clash between Strawweight contenders also takes place in late January. Hiroba Minowa looks to advance beyond his number four spot in the weight category. To do that, he must get by number three ranked Jarred Brooks in a few weeks’ time.

Minowa is on the heels of a split decision over former ONE strawweight world champion Alex Silva at ONE: Fists of Fury 3 in March.

Brooks made a big splash in his promotional debut. Doing so with an arm-triangle choke over Lito Adiwang in the second stanza of their ONE: Next Gen 3 bout in November.

In Lightweight MMA action, Ruslan Emilbek Uulu tests skills against Zhang Lipeng.

In his previous prizefight, Uulu garnered a unanimous decision win over Pieter Buist in November at ONE: Next Gen 3.

Last time out, Lipeng is coming off of a monumental debut in the ONE Circle. A debut where he bested a former lightweight world champion in the promotion.

An August victory over Team Lakay stalwart/ lightweight kingpin Eduard Folayang came via unanimous decision. Zhang Lipeng showed out big time in the ONE: Battleground 2 main event.

Also, a flyweight fight takes place between Tatsumitsu Wada and Wang Shuo. Plus, a light heavyweight collision with Anderson Braddock Silva testing skills against Paul Elliot.
