Paddy Pimblett – “I’ve been asked more about that sloppy s**t than I have about Jared Gordon”
Paddy Pimblett is one of the UFC’s biggest stars despite having only three fights with the organization. This Saturday, at UFC 282 in Las Vegas, Paddy “The Baddy” will make the walk for the fourth time when he meets Jared Gordon in the pay-per-view events co-main event.
A recent viral video, which even made ESPN Sportscenter among other news outlets, has raised Pimblett’s stock even more.
Paddy was walking his dog when the dog made a mess in a neighbor’s yard. Pimblett spoke to the homeowner and told her that he would come back to clean it up. When the woman recognized him, she told him not to worry about it.
The video from his neighbor’s Ring camera went viral with more than 6.7 million views to date, and had people rolling in laughter when Pimblett referred to the poo as a “sloppy s**t.”
“I’ve been asked more about that than my fight over the past week,” Pimblett said at today’s UFC 282 media day. “Not messing. I’ve been asked more about that sloppy s*** than I have about Jared Gordon. I’m not even taking a piss either.
“Before I got home, I got home like 30 minutes after that happened, and I’ve been sent that on Whats App three times before I got home and then all night I just got sent it. The next morning, I woke up and it was on SportsCenter. It’s like what the f*** is going on here?”
