The December 16 pay-per-view event takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and is headlined by a UFC welterweight title bout between champion Leon Edwards and challenger, Colby Covington.
Pimblett recently underwent surgery after suffering an ankle injury in his controversial win over Jared Gordon at UFC 282 earlier this year. The 28-year-old “Baddy” is currently undefeated in the UFC and holds a pro MMA record of 20-3.
In his most recent outing, Ferguson was submitted by Bobby Green at UFC 291. The loss was Ferguson’s sixth consecutive defeat in the promotion. “El Cucuy” currently holds a pro MMA record of 25-9.
