Paddy Pimblett weighs 206.6 pounds on Steve-O’s show, more than 50-pounds over fight weight

As questions and concerns continue to rise over UFC lightweight star Paddy Pimblett (19-3) and how the fighter “balloons up” after a fight, the 27-year-old fighter from Liverpool, England, didn’t help his case after appearing on Steve-O’s Wild Ride on Wednesday.

While on the podcast, hosted by Jackass star Steve-O, Pimblett took to the scale and weighed in at 206.6 which is not only 50-pounds more than the lightweight limit of 156-pounds, but also exceeds the light heavyweight division’s 206-pound ceiling.

Despite seeing his own weight, Pimblett didn’t seem too concerned.

“If I had gotten on them scales tonight after we’ve went and ate and f****** watched the UFC — 210 [pounds], easy,” he said. “I get bloated, lad.”

Undefeated in the UFC octagon at 3-0, Pimblett has become one of the promotion’s biggest stars in a relatively short period of time. UFC President Dana White, among others, have commented on Pimblett’s drastic weight cuts, but “Baddy” continues to dismiss the concerns.

“If you ever find some of the pictures from my weight cuts years ago, I look terrible, lad. Like eyes rolling in my head,” Pimblett said.

“But our gym and our team have learned [from] mistakes of our past. Me and Molly [McCann] and a few of the older people in the gym have done the bad weight cuts to realize what we need to do, so none of the younger ones do that now. Nowadays it’s easy, lad — I’m mentally strong enough to do 25 pounds if I f****** need to.”

In his most recent outing at lightweight, Pimblett defeated Jordan Leavitt by way of second round submission at UFC London.
