Paige VanZant officially turns to pro wrestling, signs with AEW
After weeks of speculation, former UFC fighter turned Bare Knuckle FC brawler, Paige VanZant has officially signed a pro wrestling contract with All Elite Wresting (AEW).
The 27-year-old star has signed on to become a professional wrestler, having made several previous appearances as a guest star with AEW.
VanZant’s official signing took place Wednesday night on a live airing of “Dynamite.”

Paige VanZant jumped over the barricade and attacked Sammy Guevara’s girlfriend, fellow AEW wrestler Tay Conti. As Guevara and Conti laid on the canvas, VanZant signed her contract.
Distractions from American Top Team owner Dan Lambert and Ethan Page set up Guevera’s fall, resulting in Scorpio Sky defeating the defending champion Guevara.

There is no official word on whether VanZant will return to Bare Knuckle FC, but the famed fighter did not fare well with the promotion, losing her two fights there. VanZant dropped decisions to both Rachael Ostovich and Britain Hart following a professional mixed martial arts career that saw her produce an 8-5 record.
