Pat Miletich, UFC Hall of Famer, charged with DWI

UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich (29-7-2) was arrested and charged with one count of driving while intoxicated (DWI) on June 29.

The 52-year-old Miletich was pulled over in Moline, Illinois according to the Quad Cities Times. He was booked on one count of DWI at Rocky Island County Jail and released.

The initial charge does not say if he was above or below the legal limit of .08.

Miletich was previously arrested Bettendorf, Iowa, in 2018 and successfully completed a year’s unsupervised probation in that alcohol related case.

Miletich is scheduled to return to action on July 18 as he has signed to fight former world boxing champion Michael Nunn in a kickboxing bout in Davenport, Iowa.  The last time “The Croatian Sensation” competed in a sanctioned MMA bout was in 2008 where he recorded a win over Thomas Denny.  Miletich made his UFC debut at UFC 16 in 1998.

Pat Miletich was the first fighter to hold what is now labeled as the UFC welterweight title.
