Pallas Athena Women’s Fighting Championship – PAWFC 1
Pallas Athena Women’s Fighting Championship will hold their first fight card, PAWFC 1 tonight from the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The January 15 event will be broadcast live via FITE.TV beginning at 4pm ET with a purchase price of $24.99.
Invicta FC veteran Charmaine Tweet served as the matchmaker for the promotion’s inaugural card.
UFC veteran Sarah Kaufman was to headline tonight’s card but a change in the lineup was announced yesterday.
Statement from PAWFC below:
“PAWFC’s management team deepy regrets to inform our audience that our headlining act, scheduled for tomorrow between Sarah Kaufman and Claudia Leire, has been withdrawn. We know that this information comes as a disappointment but we are truly looking forward to all of the other incredible fights we have lined up for the afternoon and evening.
Sarah gains the Bantamweight World Champion Title and she is now eagerly looking forward to the next event and the challengers who will come forward to compete against her for the title.”
