Petition started for Bruce Buffer to introduce Jim Miller as “Jim F**KING Miller” at UFC 300
Future UFC Hall of Famer Jim Miller (36-17 MMA, 25-16 UFC) returns to action in Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 234 main card against Gabriel Benitez (23-11 MMA, 7-6 UFC) at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
The longtime UFC staple insists that he is willing and able to compete at UFC 300 later this, making him the only fighter to compete at UFC 100, UFC 200, and UFC 300, if it happens.
While the New Jersey native still has to get through Benitez, Miller has firmly stated that he would like a petition started to get UFC announcer Bruce Buffer to introduce him as “Jim F**KING Miller,” at that historic event, should it happen.
Well…. now that petition is here.
The petition on Change.org, created by Cameron Price, reads:
“As a long-standing fan and supporter of Jim Miller, I’ve watched him fight in UFC 100 and 200. Now, as we approach UFC 300, it’s time for a change. It’s time to honor his request – to be introduced by Bruce Buffer as JIM “FÙCKING” MILLER.
“Jim has been an integral part of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) for years. He holds the record for most fights in UFC history (36), showcasing his dedication and passion for this sport [source: ESPN]. His unique fighting style and unwavering commitment have earned him respect from fans worldwide.
“However, despite these accomplishments, there is one thing that remains unfulfilled – his wish to be introduced in the ring with a title that truly reflects his persona. This is not just about adding an expletive to his name; it’s about recognizing the grit and determination he brings into every fight.
“We understand that this request may seem unconventional or even controversial. But isn’t that what UFC is all about? Breaking barriers, defying norms, pushing boundaries? If Dana White can pull off camo shorts then surely he can honor this simple yet significant request.
“Let us come together as fans of Jim Miller and supporters of UFC to make this happen. Let us ensure that when Bruce Buffer introduces fighters at UFC 300, he says JIM “FÙCKING” MILLER loud and clear! Sign this petition now!”
