PFL 8 Results – PFL Playoffs – Kayla Harrison vs. Genah Fabian
The Professional Fighters League Playoffs continue tonight, with an exciting women’s lightweight semi-final main event featuring one of the league’s most dominant champions and one of the division’s most exciting newcomers. PFL Playoff 2 takes place at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Headlining tonight’s nine-fight card will be a women’s lightweight semi-final matchup between 2019 PFL Women’s Lightweight Champion Kayla Harrison and standout Genah Fabian. Harrison, who is undefeated in ten professional fights, finished the regular season as the number 2-seed off the strength of a pair of submission wins. She takes on number 3-seed Fabian, who is enjoying an impressive first season with the league.
In the co-main event, top-seeded heavyweight Bruno Cappelozza faces number 4-seed Jamelle Jones in a heavyweight semi-final contest. A pair of exciting newcomers, Cappelozza and Jones battle to see who moves on to the heavyweight championship match.
Also on the card, alternate Mariana Morais replaced top-seeded Larissa Pacheco due to a 2lb weight miss. Number 4-seed Taylor Guardado now meets number 5-seed Morais in the other women’s lightweight semi-final matchup, while number 2-seed Denis Goltsov faces number 3-seed Ante Delija in the other heavyweight semi-final matchup.
