ONE Championship: Bad Blood Recap

In the newest episode, we are taking a look at and recapping two fights. First up is the Muay Thai bout between Jonathan Haggerty and Mongkolpetch. Haggerty started out blazing fast and brought the fight to Monkolpetch. But the Thai native wouldn’t let that stop him as Mongkolpetch came out firing bombs Haggerty’s way. But in round three, Haggerty would take advantage of Mongkolpetch putting out too much and would take the fight over, winning by decsion.

The main event was a bout between Anatoly Malykhin and Kirill Grishenko. The bout was for the interim heavyweight title with the winner getting a date with reigning champion, Arjan Bhullar. Malykhin won the main event of ONE Championship: Bad Blood and took home the interim title. He kept Grishenko on the back foot and ultimately put him away with a barrage of monster punches. Now Malykhin looks to unify and become undisputed in the ONE Championship heavyweight division.

After ONE Championship: Bad Blood, the heavyweight division has it’s next contender and Jonathan Haggerty shows that, while he lost to Rodtang twice, he’s still among the best Nak Muay in the world and will be continuing to improve for a hopeful third fight.

Be sure to tune in to the next episode as we dive into the happenings of ONE Championship: Full Circle as we talk about the three title fights from the card and more. What did you think of ONE Championship: Bad Blood?
