Prediction Strike: A New Way of Sports Betting

Prediction Strike offers a new and exciting way to put your money where your mouth is.

Founded in 2018, the Prediction Strike founders wanted to offer the public a different way to make money off of their favorite sports. With no gambling involved, sports fans can put their knowledge to use and make some dough. Instead of the typical all-or-nothing sports betting that platforms like FanDuel and Draft Kings have, Prediction Strike can be used for long-term holding, same-day trading, and provides an opportunity for diverse stock investments.

Prediction Strike is a virtual stock market that offers sports investing rather than sports betting. The platform acts just as the stock market does in terms of the ability to buy and sell shares. The difference is instead of investing in Amazon, you can invest in Jon Jones. Essentially the athletes are the stocks. You can buy a share of an athlete and sell those shares depending on the performance of not just the athlete but the stock as well.

For example, if you believe that the hype is real for Khamzat Chimaev you can buy his stock at a rather low price right now. Then, say that in due time he becomes champion, his stock will increase drastically, and you can sell your shares to make a profit.

The stocks themselves move depending on a couple of key things. First, much like the traditional stock market, the stock prices will move based on the volume of people trading that stock (athlete). Secondly, they will also move depending on the performance of the athlete based on their projections.

For example, Jared Cannonier’s recent win over Derek Brunson brought not only a performance boost to his stock but also brought an influx of volume trading of him. In this case, his stock rose from $4.50 to nearly $6.00. Derek Brunson’s stock on the other hand fell 22.74% from nearly $4.50 to $3.30.

Prediction Strike gives users a fun and engaging way to invest in their favorite athletes across all sports as well. Not only do they offer shares of MMA fighters, but also football and basketball. In the near future, they plan to integrate hockey, soccer, and baseball as well.
