Prajanchai Wins Vacant ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title With Unanimous Decision Over Jonathan Di Bella
ONE Championship (ONE) returned to the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium with ONE Friday Fights 68: Prajanchai vs. Di Bella.
In the main event, reigning ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai put together a strong performance to narrowly beat Jonathan Di Bella and seize the vacant ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title.
The Thai superstar was met with incredible resistance from Di Bella in the early stages of the bout. The Italian-Canadian effectively utilized his reach advantage to execute crisp boxing combinations and lightning-fast leg strikes as he looked to reclaim the belt.
However, Prajanchai came alive in the fourth and fifth rounds, unleashing a barrage of powerful punches and penetrating knee strikes to the body. His relentless forward pressure in the final stanza proved decisive, leading to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards.
In the co-main event, reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion and #1-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender “The Kicking Machine” Superlek Kiatmoo9 overcame a spirited effort from Thai compatriot Kongthoranee Sor Sommai to emerge triumphant in a three-round Muay Thai tilt.
Both men showcased exceptional striking skills from the opening bell, trading a barrage of powerful kicks that reverberated throughout the arena. As the bout intensified in the following rounds, Superlek slowly gained momentum with solid knees to the midsection and sharp elbow strikes.
Kongthoranee proved resilient and held his ground in the final frame, but Superlek delivered the more telling blows down the stretch to walk away with a unanimous decision win.
