President Trump agrees: DC’s first fight with Miocic was a HUGE win
Yet again, President Donald Trump has found his way back into MMA news prior to this weekends UFC main event. On the Jim Rome Show this week, UFC president Dana White recounts the surprise phone call he received from the U.S. President following DC’s heavyweight victory over Stipe Miocic at UFC 226.
“Whats crazy is, two days after the first fight between the two the President called me. He said, ‘there is no way you saw that coming! You didn’t see that coming, nobody saw that coming!”’
Dana continued to add “I told him, Daniel Cormier is one of the all time greats.”
President Trump is becoming a HUGE fan of the UFC Champions as he also has connection with former interim Welterweight Champion, Colby Covington.
The rematch between Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic takes place during UFC 241 in Anaheim, California at the Honda Center.
