Run It Back
Professional Fighters League will air the fourth installment of Run it Back on Thursday night. Relive the PFL 2018 & 2019 season’s through the eyes of the league’s top fighters. Each weekly episode features full fights with a fresh perspective. Through fighter interviews, never before seen highlights, and enhanced storytelling of these monumental moments.
This week’s episode features 2019 PFL welterweight runner-up David Michaud. He is reliving his run through the toughest night in MMA, the fight-twice-in-one-night PFL Playoffs. Michaud entered the PFL Playoffs as the #5 seed. In the quarterfinals, Michaud defeated John Howard by unanimous decision to set up a showdown with #1 seed Glaico Franca. In the semifinals, Michaud controlled the fight en route to a majority decision victory. His improbable run to the 2020 PFL Championship started with a 17-second loss by knockout to Sadibou Sy in his PFL debut.

MMA At Home, Powered by Geico
Last week, the Professional Fighters League launched a new weekly MMA original content series, MMA at Home, powered by Geico. It goes very Friday at Noon ET. PFL president and combat sports veteran Ray Sefo will introduce a foundational move in MMA and a PFL fighter who excels at it. They will then challenge fans at home to replicate the move for a chance to win PFL swag. The series premiere featured PFL welterweight Sadibou Sy and his patented head kick.
This week’s episode features Lance Palmer showcasing his ground game that has propelled him to back-to-back PFL featherweight titles and a 10-fight win streak. Throughout his career, Palmer has proven to be an elite wrestler, relentlessly taking the will out of fighters on the mat. He was a four-time state champion at one of the most successful high school wrestling programs in the country, St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio. His career was the subject of the 2009 documentary “Pinned.” He went on to star at Ohio State University, where he was a four-time All-American.
