Pudzianowski KO’s Bombardier Stiff in the Battle of the Goliaths

The bantamweight KSW championship will top tonight’s card after the main attraction between two Goliath’s hit the cage in the co-main event.

KSW 64 takes place on Saturday at Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland.

After the initial cancellation  just hours before the main event was set to take off, “Bombardier” Serigne Ousmane Dia is ready for his KSW debut against one of Poland’s most seasoned veterans in MMA. Bombardier only 2-0 in MMA, is regarded as the greatest Senegalese wrestler of all time. Being named “King of the Arena” on two occasions.

Dia (2-0) was forced out on fight day this past March, and Pudzianowski (15-7) went on to face late replacement Nikola Milanovic, earning a first-round TKO win. Dia hasn’t fought since February 2020, he finally looks set to make his KSW debut.

The former five-time strongman champion also picked up a June victory at KSW 61 and now owns a three-fight winning streak. Pudzianowski, who has been a massive star in his native Poland for several years, turned to MMA back in 2009 and has amassed a 15-7 record.

Here’s how the fight played out round by round:

ROUND 1:

HERE WE GO! They enter the centre and Pudzianowski opens up with a heavy leg kick! Bombardier starts to swing wild in the middle and Pudzianowski connects with a straight right in the exchanges and puts Bombardier out COLD in fifteen seconds. Bombardier is still down. The former strongman wins the battle of the Goliath’s.

Official Result: Mariusz Pudzianowski KO’s Bombardier (Punch) – Round 1, 0:18
