DWCS – Javid Basharat credits “Power Rangers” for getting him into MMA

Interview with Javid Basharat above

Javid Basharat (10-0) discusses his lightweight fight against Oron Kahlon (16-0) at DWCS on Oct. 26. Javid also talks about how this opportunity came together, signing with Paradigm Sports for representation and how TV show “Power Rangers” played a role in him getting into MMA.

“To be honest as long as I’ve known I’ve wanted to be a fighter but I didn’t know it existed. I was watching ‘Power Rangers’ and all of this stuff when I came to England and I wanted to be like that. I think I found out around (when I) was 13 or 14 years old about the UFC. This is exactly what I want to do. The red ranger (was my favorite)”
