Reebok signs UFC champ Chris Weidman
UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman joins Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Anthony Pettis, Rory MacDonald, Johny Hendricks, Paige VanZant and Khabib Nurmagomedov as fighters with official Reebok sponsorship deals.
Michael Lunardelli, Senior Business Unit Director of Reebok’s Combat Sports, made the announcement today while on Ariel Helwani’s ‘The MMA Hour.’
While all UFC fighters are contractually obligated to wear Reebok apparel during weigh-ins and fights, Weidman and the other fights who have exclusive deals earn extra incentives/pay for their commitments to the brand.
