Referee Troy Waugh passes away after battle with brain cancer
Troy Waugh, a longtime mixed martial arts official, passed away on August 1 after a battle with brain cancer.
Waugh served as a referee for multiple organizations to include UFC, Bellator, WSOF, Elite XC Hook N Shoot, BoDog, and others.
He is most notably known as the official who served in the bout where famed striker Kimbo Slice was knocked out by late replacement Seth Petruzelli.
