Reggie Barnett Jr: I’m gonna get him up outta there”

Reggie Barnett Jr. burst on the bare-knuckle fighting scene with his BKFC 1 fight against Travis Thompson, taking the fight by way of decision. The young Virginia Beach native returned to BKFC 2 with a back forth slugfest with James Clayton Burns to earn yet another decision win. Alas, the fans get what they’ve been clamoring for, as Barnett returns to the squared circle April 6 for BKFC 5 at the Mississippi Coast Colesium in Biloxi, Mississippi to take on the gritty Rusty Crowder in what Barnett is sure, with a win over Crowder, will advance him in the lightweight tournament and grant him a title shot.

Not that the slick striker Barnett is looking past Crowder. However, when asked how he feels the bout with Crowder will play out, Barnett states, “We’ve had two good performances so it’s time to make a statement. I’m getting him up outta there”. In other words, Barnett has no interest in another slugfest, or a judge’s decision. His plan is simple.

“If I wanna put my hands on you and outbox the shit out of you, I can do it.”

With that mic drop comment from Barnett, be sure to tune into the live pay-per-view for BKFC 5 on April 6 as Barnett plans for an early night against Crowder.

Before the bout, Barnett sat down for a one on one with MyMMANews’, Adam Crist to discuss Barnetts BKFC journey and upcoming bout. Tune in below!
