Cage Warriors 110 has found it’s main event. Rhys McKee and Håkon Foss will face off in a welterweight bout. The card takes place at the Cork Neptune Arena in Cork, Ireland on November 9th. Fans in the United States will be able to stream the card on UFC Fight Pass.
Rhys McKee comes into the fight at 9-2-1. On a two fight win streak, he’s won via TKO and guillotine. He looks to keep the momentum going as he comes in to Cage Warriors 110. His last two wins were over Jefferson George and Perry Andre Goodwin. Håkon Foss would be a great third name to that list for McKee.
Håkon Foss, who is aptly nicknamed “Death,” has had a rough go of it recently. Sitting at 9-7 professionally, Foss has dropped four of his last five fights. A win over Rhys McKee would undoubtedly build some steam to get him back to winning.
Building Hype for Cage Warriors 101
“I am more than excited to welcome Cage Warriors back to Ireland. It’s going to be a special night, and I’ll add another solid finish to my record!” says McKee of his fight with Foss.
“This is a real fight for the fans,” said Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan. “When you get two guys who chase for the finish like this, you’re guaranteed a main event that will live up to the hype.”
Cage Warriors 110 is the next step in the promotion’s push into Ireland. They have made it clear that they want that corner of the market and are willing to sign the best Irish talent.
Other names confirmed on the card are Joe McColgan, Darren O’Gorman, Ian Garry, Jack Maguire, and John Mitchell. Garry, McClogan and O’Gorman are Irish talent, part of Cage Warriors Irish push.
