Rob Wilkinson discusses his upcoming fight with Thiago Santos at PFL 1

Rob Wilkinson knows he may have a target on his back ahead of this upcoming season, but he doesn’t mind it.

Last year, Wilkinson debuted with the PFL and he made the best of his first season as he went on to win the PFL light heavyweight title and a one million dollar pay check.

Wilkinson is expecting every opponent to come into fights with him giving it their all as they would like to one day experience what Wilkinson got to last year, but Wilkinson won’t let that happen.

Right now as Wilkinson is completely dialed in for the upcoming season and he recently made the trip from his home country of Australia to Denver, Colo. to train at Factory X and he can’t wait to get started on his journey tours another PFL title.

That journey will start at PFL 1 on April 1 and Wilkinson has drawn a massive name and a huge pickup by the PFL promotion.

Former UFC title challenger Thiago Santos, who lost a split decision to Jon Jones back in 2019, will be debuting with PFL after leaving the UFC and him and Wilkinson are set square off in a huge fight.

Their fight is set to serve as the co-main event of the fight card with last years featherweight champion Brendan Loughnane fighting former UFC bantamweight title challenger Marlon Moraes in the main event.

Prior to PFL 1, Wilkson spoke with MyMMANews to discuss winning the light heavyweight championship last season, his excitement for this season and his matchup with Santos.
