Roxanne Modafferi all set for her final glorious battle at UFC 271
Roxanne Modafferi is all prepared for her final glorious battle.
Modafferi is a MMA veteran, who has fought all across the world and has fought for titles in a number of high level promotions such as Strikeforce, Invicta FC and the UFC.
Now on Feb. 12 at UFC 271, Modafferi will compete in last professional outing when she meets rising star Casey O’Neill in a flyweight matchup.
Prior to her final fight, Modafferi spoke with MyMMANews about the emotions of going through her final training camp in which is thanked all of her great teammates over the year and she is really happy with her preparation for this fight.
While “The Happy Warrior” did reflect on her amazing career as a pioneer of women’s MMA, she hasn’t given much thought as to what her last walk will be like because she doesn’t want to stress about it and she plans on enjoying that special moment.
Modafferi’s life as a professional athlete maybe in its final chapter, but life after fighting is just getting started as she recently got engaged, will be getting married in October and hopes to start a family.
