Ty Miller predicts TKO “in the second or third” at Fight World 21

Closing his amateur MMA career on a 3-fight winning streak, Ty Miller is primed and ready to make his professional debut in a matter of days in the historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania at Fight World 21 on February 12th.

Taking on Justin Dorsey as his opposition, Miller has little concern making the transition into the professional rankings against an established professional athlete. Miller holds quite a lengthy amateur background in martial arts, complimenting the momentum of his 3-fight winning streak. Prior to this out, Miller had competed in several boxing smokers, as well as winning a Golden Gloves tournament 2x under the USA Boxing banner. Mixing in the other facets within the structures of MMA, Miller also compiled an impressive undefeated kickboxing record of 2-0 with a 3-1 mixed martial arts resume. Needless to say, he feels ready.

“When you watch my fights, you’d think I’d want to stand up but if it goes to the ground I really don’t mind. I like scrambling from the bottom. I like wrestling. I like taking them down I just haven’t been able to really show it, yet,” Miller says with an adaptable attitude.

Miller’s opponent, Dorsey enters the bout without a win to his record, standing at 0-1, professionally. Focusing his attention to his training, Miller doesn’t “want to be thinking about him day and night,” he explains. “What he’s going to do instead of worrying about what I’m going to do. So, I’m focused on me, really,” Miller

Before he steps into the cage, he sits down with me via MyMMANews to talk about the jump into the professional rankings, growing up watching the UFC events, his experience on the football field, and how he thinks this bout will play out! Tune in!
