“Russian Ronda” Irina Alekseeva has first UFC bout booked
Irina Alekseeva (4-1), fighting out of Ekaterinburg, Russia, has her first fight with the UFC booked after signing with the promotion in August 2022.
“Russian Ronda” Alekseeva will make her first walk to the promotion’s octagon on April 29 at UFC Fight Night 223 when she takes on Stephanie Egger in a bantamweight bout.
The 32-year-old fighter is a three-time silver medalist at the Russian Judo Championships and a Russian and European gold medalist at Sambo Worlds.
Alekseeva was 3-1 when she signed with Bellator MMA. She had just one fight with the promotion, a unanimous decision victory over Stephanie Page at Bellator 269.
