Ryan Bader officially signs with Bellator MMA, debut to be determined
After months of speculation it is finally official, former UFC light heavyweight star Ryan Bader has signed with Bellator MMA.
Bader, 33, was the Ultimate Fighter Season 8 winner, and despite having officially been on the UFC roster since December 2008, even racking up a five-fight win streak in the division, Bader never earned a shot at the 205-pound belt.
“Darth” last competed at UFC Fight Night 100 in November, defeating Antonio Rogerio Nogueira via TKO.
In 20 fights with the UFC, Bader accumulated a 15-5 record.
No date or opponent has been set for the former Arizona State University wrestler’s Bellator debut.
