Light heavyweights Ryan Spann and Johnny Walker are set to meet at UFC’s event on Sept. 19.
First reported by ESPN, the card is expected to take place on “Fight Island,” Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Spann is the winner of his last eight fights. He most recently earned a split decision victory against Sam Alvey at UFC 249 on May 9.
The former LFA champion signed with the UFC in 2018 after appearing on “Dana White’s Contender Series.” He is 4-0 inside the octagon, including wins over Devin Clark, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Luis Henrique.
Walker is coming off back-to-back defeats in the UFC. He suffered a unanimous decision loss to Nikita Krylov at UFC on ESPN+ 28 back in March and a first-round TKO loss to Corey Anderson this past November.
The two-fight skid comes after Walker earned three-consecutive “Performance of the Night” bonuses
