“Senor Perfecto” Bill Algeo all business as he prepares for Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series

“Senor Perfecto” Bill Algeo (12-3) has been fighting at a very high level for several years now.  He is the reigning Ring of Combat featherweight champion.  ROC president, Louis Neglia, has been expressing his support and doing everything in his power to help his champion get the call to the UFC.  That time has come as Bill will face off with Brendan Loughnane (16-3) on the kickoff of the 2019 season of Dana White’s The Contender Series scheduled in Las Vegas on June 18.

Algeo is the owner/operator and head trainer at Algeo MMA and Kickboxing (www.algeomma.com), as well as one of the top fighters in the region.  “Senor Perfecto” is ready for the next challenge and has worked hard to earn this opportunity.  Bill is a dangerous opponent for anyone as he comes with a plethora of weapons as well as one of the brightest minds I’ve met in my years of covering mixed martial arts.  Starting out as a wrestler, then becoming a dangerous grappler and blackbelt in BJJ, Algeo is now a vicious striker who throws anything and everything with bad intentions and purpose.  You must tune in to UFC Fight Pass to see him perform.  Algeo is really a fun fighter to watch, one who is always coming forward and looking for finishes.

I had the pleasure of chatting with Bill via Skype.  Please checkout our interview above.  Special appearance by Peanut Algeo who is one of Bill’s biggest fans.
