Yoshihiro ‘Sexyama’ Akiyama has not seen the results he wants inside the UFC octagon but the highly popular Japanese fighter will make another return to the cage when he squares off against Kyle Noke at UFC Japan’s UFC Fight Night Nelson vs. Hunt, September 20.
Akiyama has four straight losses inside the octagon with his last winning coming back at UFC 100 when he defeated Alan Belcher.
Since that time Akiyama has dropped bouts to Chris Leben, Michael Bisping, Vitor Belfort, and Jake Shields.
The bout against Noke was announced by the UFC through a promotional video released in Japan.
This will be the first fight for Sexyama in nearly two and a half years.
Noke is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Patrick Cote.
