SFT 23 Results – Aaron Jeffery vs. Bruno Assis – ORDER HERE

SFT 23 goes down tonight (Thursday, August 13th) at 7 PM ET. Wynwood Studios in Wynwood, Florida is the home for this upcoming MMA event. Standout Fighting Tournament is a promotion based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The initial plan was to host an August 1st event there until COVID-19 event hurdles caused the promotion to pivot things. They are making their first foray into the United States with their twenty-third event here.  You can order the event via FITE.TV below.

The main event features BTC middleweight champion Aaron Jeffery takes on Brazilian submission artist Bruno Assis. The Canadian Jeffery is looking to put together back to back wins after his Contender Series foray. To do that, Jeffery will take on an individual who is also a Contender Series vet but has competed in ACB, Brave CF, Jungle Fight, and Shoot Brasil.

The co-main event features two undefeated pros going head to head. Jornel Lugo is a CES and Bellator MMA veteran. After debuting last year and embarking on a 3-0 campaign, Lugo looks to secure a victory in his first outing of 2020. Cortavious Romious has cut his teeth on the 360 Fight Club and Shamrock FC circuits. Romious looks to preserve his 4-0 record and log his fifth pro win overall/ first W of the calendar year.
